The Puppetistas, who entertained SOA protestors on Saturday, took part in Sunday's memorial procession to the gates of Ft. Benning. There they made their own special offerings- planting corn with the crosses on the chainlink fence and laying the huge puppet head across the road.
Afterwards, they bade farwell to their friends from the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW) who had participated in the creation and performance of the puppet pageant. The CIW members would now return to Florida to continue their struggle for the right to organize and the Taco Bell Boycott campaign.
