50 Protestors rallied in solidarity with protests in Quebec and around the world against FTAA.
A "Free Speech" Open Microphone was hooked up om Highway 1 in front of Town Hall in this small coastal rural area in the heart of Redwood Country that is experiencing degradation of forestlands due to industrial corporarte logging.
As speeches were made and the "Bushwackers" anti FTAA Marching band performed, large signs were held up to traffic in this 25mph traffic zone and passers by. The rally ended with a march thru town and a committment to hold FTAA teachins and outreach to local business and community organizations on the dangers of FTAA.
