as you may know the World Trade Organisation is having another ministerial meeting on 10th-14th September, this time in Cancun Mexico.

we wanna have a reclaim the streets: fiesta : party in melb on Friday evening 12th Sept gathering together different crew who think there is something wrong with the the WTO...(and much more)

building community, collaborating, bringing together people in the streets, taking back the streets and public space and culture that we create...constantly appropriated...and of course show solidarity with peoples all over the globe doing the same... resisting and challenging...

so we want to get together ppl to make this happen and organise a huge street fiesta (or call it something else!!) so come and contribute in whateva way... we're putting out the call for puppet makers, sound systems, rappas....stilt walkers!! artists/performers, independent media...we can have legged races (we're building a giant bum and thought we could have 'a race to the bottom!' to symbolise corporations rush to put profit before ppl ) a peoples kitchen and more....

we thought we can even send out party invitations!!
