Demo against G-20

Anarchist Platform demonstrated for freedom in the day of G-20 mettings which Stanley Fischer (an IMF "stuff") joined on 19th of February in Istanbul-Turkey.

G(REEDY)-20 MEETING FOR PROFIT
AND ANARCHISTS DEMONSTRATED FOR FREEDOM
One of the starrings of the global capitalism, G(reedy)-20 organized a meeting in Turkey. The aim of this meeting is transforming Turkey into a bridge for global capitalism, opening new markets in Asia and Middle East. Turkey, a G-20 member, is IMF's new target for structural adjustment programs and Turkish Government is supporting this policy disregarding poverty and social justice. States are the new puppets of globalization and they are committing the same crime against humanity in every corner of the world. We are against this capitalist insolence and today (19.2.2001) protested G(reedy)-20 meeting in Istanbul and demonstrated for freedom and justice. We rallied to the Hyatt Regency Hotel where the G-20 meeting took place at 12.00 pm, while rallying we shouted slogans as "No Capitalism", "Earth, Commune, Freedom".
When we came in front of the building, having been opened our black flags and banners "Capitalism Kills", "G(reedy)-20", "Anarchist Platform", we went on shouting our slogans "G(reedy)-20 Kills", "Long live Revolution, Long Live Anarchy". At the same time, we threw coins and eggs to the building, implying "You want money, take it". We read the press release and police attacked and arrested 52 friends. While being arrested we resisted and shouted the slogan "We killed G(reedy)-20". In the police bus, arrested anarchists went on shouting slogans, hitting the windows and waving black flags from the windows. While arresting and in the police bus police used violence.
WE WILL NOT LET THEIR G(REEDY)-20 DOMINATE THE WORLD AND HUMANITY!
