VIA CAMPESINA CALLS FOR URGENT ACTION!!!!!!!!

In a last contact this morning with Paul Nicholson and Mario Llil they describe the situation as critical:

• The Israeli army does not let the Red Cross in since Sunday 31st of March,
• The 34 internationalists and the ca 370 Palestinians that are in the Head Quarters do not have any food or water anymore,
• They have very high moral and have decided to stay even if this would mean they would have to die, they will not give in!

The group close by in the Ramallah Hotel is well organised and tries to unblock the situation.

We urge the governments to raise the pressure on the Israeli government by sending their consuls to Ramallah.

We urge the Israeli government to respect the international conventions and let the Red Cross enter the Head Quarters to bring the necessary food, water and medicins.

Get mobilized in your countries, put pressure on your government and go to the Israeli embassies to demand the stop this absolute blockade of the Head Quarters of the Palestinian Authority
