WTO members formally agreed Feb. 8 to hold their ministerial meeting in Doha, Qatar, on Nov. 9-13. The decision was taken a day after heads of delegations in Geneva endorsed General Council chairman Kare Bryn's proposal to hold the meeting on those dates. The ministerial will begin on a Friday and end on a Tuesday, although trade officials said the meeting could be extended by several days if need be.
