Protest on social issues

National Garments Workers Federation had organized a protest procession against the Price Rising on Oil and Gas.The protest was organized on 25th Agust,2000.The protest was started at 5 p.m and it was finished at 6.30 p.m. It was started from Muktangan central place of Dhaka city and was finished in front of Paltan after parred the main streets of the city.

It is mentionable that - Government had taken decission to rise the prices of Gas and Oil.Against this decission The Federation had organized the protest.Before the procession , there was a short addressing.

Presided by Mr. Alam Kabir the gathering was addressed among others Amirul Haque Amin , Miss Shahida Sarker ,Mrs Nurun Nahar, Mrs Parul Begum, Mrs Arifa and Ohiduzzaman.

The speakers Criticised the government decission. they mentionedthat - for the the Garments workers, Whole working peoples and the general masses will be more suferer . They also demanded the withdrawal of the decission.
