C.O.N.T.R.E.X. against G8 Evian

In order to prevent the opposition during the next g8 submit in june, the french presidence has chosen the thermal station of Evian. After they had explored the place and consulted many experts, the Topograph Night Birds Operational Commission for extraordinary Meetings (C.O.N.T.R.E.X ) presents now the first estimation of the possible actions during the submit.

CONCLUSION

Jamed between moutains, a lake and two borders, the city of Evian has been chosen because of its geographical position : the city is isolated, and the only way to access can easily be closed. Still, the g8 organizers have forgotten something : the city is isolated and it can easily be closed.

The way to proceed The region of Evian will be divided in four zones : a ? red one ? where the three hotels receiving the most of the submit will be situated. The air army will make an aeronautic bubble in the sky of Evian, the navy and the police force will make the surveillance of the lake Leman.

An important demonstration will be certainly autorised out of these zones , far from Evian.

Blocus In this situation, it's technically impossible to invade the submit place the way it has been done at Seattle. If we wanna go on disturbing those international meetings in a direct way, we have to change our tactics.

In that perspective, we propose to organize the blocus of the G8 . A blocus consists in intercepting or to unable their communications. The idea is in fact to isolate them in a symbolic and a concrete way from the rest of the world. We also want to block the marchandises circulation that isn?t concerned by any red zone .This common tactic can be applied with different forms according to the affinity groups that will participate to the contersubmit.

SCENARIO

At the end of may

Installation of a camp in the region of evian. Making plans, thinking about strategies and creating workgroups . The participants will have the oportunity to learn essential things, as how to turn a cow into a moving placard using an hyppoalergenic paint, how to move a 2 tonnes rock using the pyramid builders technics, or how to throw leaflets from a paragliding.

The 30 of may (friday)

From thursday ( that will be a public holiday ) people start to arrive .This time, we won?t have waited to be stopped at the border by the european polices. We will have placed our own custom officers and control posts near the border between france and switzerland : the marchandises convoy will be intercepted, dozens of suitcases with suspicious money inside will be confiscated during the day , the petit-four destinated to the opening ceremony will be requisitioned and distributed to the collectivity by the ? cocktail bloc ? . On the evening, thousands of ravers from all europe will arrive to make a wild party ( that means hundreds of cars, see below ).

The 31 of may ( Saturday )

The 8 will leave St Petersbourg where they participated to the ceremonies for the 3rd century of the city. The planes of Bush, Poutine and the others will arrive on the afternoon in the Geneva airport. At the same time, the airport tarmac will be invaded, the runway will be coated will chocolate and colombs will be released in front of the control tower; affraid by the swiss hippies and their birds, Air Force One swill be ridirected to a secret military base in Oklahoma. But some state leaders will have managed to land, so the B plan will begin. Robin Hood and ewoks teams who used to eat roots from a week can finally get out from their hiding place and put their arms into concrete to block the road.

Thanks to the intensive training organised by Reclaim the Streets, the demonstrators will have perfectly learnt the ?road blocking? technics : tripods will be placed on the road, roadblocks will unable any communication between Evian and the airport. At the same time, the ravers cars will make a ?snail operation? and totaly invade the roads in order to stop the police cars. The official translators, taken into the traffic jam,will start to party with the demonstrators and will become Indymedia voluntary translators . Bush, who will have finally managed to go to evian with his nuclear submarine, will nervously eat bretzels in his hotel room wondering what the others are doing.

The 1s t and the 2nd of june

While the big demonstration will begin, cyber-activist will start bustling about : the g8 official site will be disabled, the media center communication are parasited, and a pirate tv program will replace the opening ceremony by five hours of Tv-Selling programs.

The political Embargo Campain will finally succeed : the ONG (non governemental organisation ), that were invited to be a kind of moral guarantor, will leave the place and the Elysee (french presidence ) envoy, who wanted to show himself at the social forum will go back home with tar and feathers.

At the end of the demonstration, the participants will organise the g8 quarantine. The roadblocks will be transformed into sanitary barriers, white dressed sanitary teams will determine a security zone, danger signs will be placed, and the journalist who will come from the official zone will be invited to make contamination tests.

After analizing the situation, the CONTREX calls each and everyone to make this operation succeed. We have to stop the world contamination wich is the powerful g8 responsability. We have no power nor weapons, but we have to make this ceremony with with the richness of our creativity, our time, our will to have fun, our hopes and our colours, even our fears and anguishes, which are the only antidote against the 8 microbes who decided to install in the Alpes valleys. Protecting the trees, the cows, imps and fairies, lakes and rivers, Robin Hoods and horn players, that is to say all the beautiful people who live on this planet, is an URGENCY.
