N30 in Portugal !
November 30 International Day of Action
Well, we are trying to gather groups in Lisboa, Portugal right now, for discussing and preparing N30 here. I paste in the text of a pamphlet below that we are right now spreading in the area. For whoever is curious, I include a rough translation of it into English. (Criticism of the text is most welcome...) Please help us to spread this pamphlet to activists in Portugal generally.
Also, I include information below about present N30 contacts in Lisboa and Portugal. (I am myself NOT a contact.)
We are also taking some first few steps to engage groups in other cities in Portugal in N30, especially Porto and Coimbra. Any information about contacts among activists, anarchists etc. will be useful.

O dia 30 de Novembro de 1999 foi escolhido para ser um dia global de acção contra o sistema capitalista, já que este é a principal razão dos actuais problemas sociais e ecológicos do mundo, por basear-se na exploração das pessoas, sociedades e ambiente. Vários grupos, em diversas cidades de todo o mundo, irão participar nesse dia simultânea e cada um autonomamente, de forma a fortalecer a luta comum por uma sociedade melhor. Assim, propõe-se o encontro para preparar o N30, também aqui em Lisboa, entre todos os movimentos ou grupos alternativos locais que queiram tomar acções e indivíduos que estejam interessados. Deste modo, esperamos discutir uma possível cooperação e favorecer a ligação entre as nossas lutas independentes, nesse Dia de Acção. Aparece!
Encontros todos os Domingos às 15.00h no Centro de Cultura Libertária, Rua Cândido dos Reis, 121 - 1º Dto, Cacilhas (perto da estação fluvial)

November 30, 1999 has been appointed a global day of action against the capitalist system, since this is the principal cause of the present social and ecological problems in the world, being based on the exploitation of people, societies, and the environment. Different groups, in various cities around the world, will participate simultaneously, each one autonomously, on this day, in order to strengthen their common struggle for a better society. Thus, a meeting to prepare for N30 here in Lisboa as well suggests itself - between all the alternative, local movements and groups that would like to take action and the individuals who are interested. In this way we hope to discuss the possibility of cooperation and to promote the connection between our independent struggles on this Day of Action. Come!
Meetings every Sunday at 3 p.m. at Center of Libertarian Culture, Rua Cândido dos Reis, 121 - 1º Dto, Cacilhas (close to the boat station)
