Este breve resumen quiere ser un punto de partida para una discusion y un proyecto hacia Porto Alegre de aquellas sensibilidades y sujetos que sienten la necesidad de compartir ideas en el hub, y para cualquiera que gusta de unirse en el esfuerzo de conectar experiencias en Porto Alegre
Los elementos de esta discusion parten de constatar que a pocas semanas del comienzo del FSM hay varias cosas que estan ya sucediendo y siendo organizadas para el evento.
En nuestra perspectiva, la meta basica del HUB y de otros proyectos similares es facilitar el encuentro de experiencias distintas basadas en una organizacion horizontal, trabajos de comunicacion, modelos antiautoritarios y demas; el HUB pretende conectar, compartir, ir a traves de situaciones en las que diferentes sujetos pueden encontrarse y conspirar juntos.
En Porto Alegre la mejor manera para hacerlo parece ser la de dibujar un mapa-proceso que ayudara a detectar posibles senderos a traves de las miles de cosas y lugares que ocurriran dentro y alrededor del Foro Social Mundial 2003.
Hay algunos lugares que probablemente jugaran un importante rol (el Centro de Indymedia, el Campamento de la Juventud y especificamente el espacio Intergalactika, el espacio Life After Capitalism, y otros), tanto si ellos estan dentro como fuera de los espacios oficiales del Foro.
La idea es mapear las posibles afinidades y posibles conexiones, no para definir un unico y simple camino a seguir para los grupos, colectivos e individuos.
Entonces, la propuesta basicamente gira en torno a:
- Dibujar un Mapa a ser expuesto en diferentes lugares en la ciudad todos los dias del Foro, detallando las posibles conexiones y los lugares donde los encuentros aconteceran
- Proveer antes de Porto Alegre un mapa de las posibles conexiones, asi la gente que esta pensando en ir a Porto Alegre puede pensar en los lugares posibles para compartir y participar.
- Organizar una fiesta global itinerante que atravesara todos los lugares en los que estas afinidades puedan florecer y muchos mas, llenando las calles de la ciudad de diversion.
- Organizar algunos otros momentos de visibilidad y convergencia, como por ejemplo una Asamblea con todos los grupos organizada en torno a una pregunta comun, que podria ser: Que significa estar dentro/fuera del proceso del Foro Social Mundial?
- Averiguar donde las diferentes redes pueden encontrarse y compartir proyectos e ideas.

Esta es solo una propuesta, solo sugestiones.
Necesitamos conocer el feeling de la gente que potencialmente viene a Porto Alegre, si piensa que esta idea puede resultar de interes, y como llevarla a cabo para que pueda materializarse en la practica.

HUB in Porto Alegre : a possible project of possible connections
This small summary is meant to be a starting point for a discussion and a project towards porto alegre of those sensibilities and subjects who felt the need to share ideas and practices in the hub and for anyone who would like to join in the effort of connecting experiences in porto alegre.
The elements this discussion starts from is that we are at one month from the beginning of the world social forum and that many things are already happening and being organized towrards this event.
In our perspective the basic aim of th hub and similar projects is facilitating the meeting of different experiences based on horizontal organizing, communication effort, antiauthoritarian model and so on; the hub is connecting, sharing, going through the situations where different subjects can meet and conspire together.
In porto alegre the best way to do this seems to be the drawing of a work-in-progress map that will help detect possible paths through the thousands of things and places that will be animated by the events insidee and around the world social forum 2003.
There are some places that will probably play an important role (the indymedia center, the youth camp and specifically the integalactika space, the life after capitalism space, and so on) whether they are inside or outside the offical forum spaces.
The idea is to map possible affinities and possible connections, not to define a joint and single path for groups, collectives and individuals to follow.
So the proposals basically runs around this:
- drawing a map that will be exposed in different places in the city every day, detailing the possible connections and the places where this take place
- providing before poa a map of possible connections so that people who are thinking to come to PoA can think of possible things to share and partecipate
- organizing a roaming global party that will touch all of the places where this affinities can flourish and many more, striding the streets of the city with fun
- organizing some others convergence moments, as an asambly with all the groups around a common topic, that could be: What does it mean to be in/out the World Social Forum process?
- finding out where different networks can meet and share projects and ideas

This is just a proposal and this are only suggestions We need to know what all of the people potentially coming to porto alegre think of all this and if this is of any interest, and how to realize all of this in the best way :)))))
