The autonomous Ronda de Roca Negra is a space of different ways of exploring and different experiences in the anticapitalist struggle: neighborhood assemblies, unemployed workers movements, squatted spaces, counterinformation collectives community artists,and more.
Ten years after the Zapatista Uprising and two after our December 19 and 20, between January 8 and 11 2004, we open our Ronda to the world.
Participants will include:
Mapuche communities from the South of Argentina and Chile as well as indigenous folks from Brazil. Delegates from the Zapatista communities will also join us. Autonomist organizations from Europe, the US and Canada will be sharing their experiences with our own neighborhood assemblies, workers from the recuperated factories and folks in the unemployed workers movements. Women groups from different parts of the world will also take part.
Community artist from the US and Argentina will be holding street theater workshops throughout the meeting.
Groups involved in the organizing of this international encuentro involve several neighborhood assemblies, artistic collectives, movements of unemployed workers MTD Allen, MTD Guernica and MTD Solano (http://www.solano.mtd.org.ar).
We await your proposal to join up with workshops, activities, desires, etc.
There will be camping available on site. The encuentro will take place approximately an hour away from Buenos Aires, in the southern area that surrounds the city. Meals will be communal and participants are expected to share the expenses.
