What to say? La lucha sigue. People are on the streets. Police brutality is rising. Even young women with a red cross on their arms get beaten up by them - by five of them. People living in the neighborhoods are getting teargased. Everyone gets.

A journalist, Bradley Steinbacher of The Stranger, describes: "I'd always been curious about what tear gas or pepper spray actually does to a person, and thanks to the Seattle Police Department, I now know From a distance, tear gas doesn't look so bad - just a white mass of smoke that gently drifts up off the street. But once it actually hits, you buckle over. You cough and wheeze and feel your stomach cramping. Your eyes immediately turn red and puffy, as every fluid in your head seems to be trying to escape at once. It only lasts for about 30 seconds, but it's completely effective."

But the sun is on our side.

5 p.m.

ONE OF US IS MISSING, THE OTHER ONE IS IN JAIL SINCE YESTERDAY. THE INFORMATION , THAT HE GOT OUT, IS WRONG.

Although we are staying together, that some of us stay overnight in offices or anywhere. It's difficult to get from one place to another here, when you mustn't cross the center, where the WTO meeting takes place, and because buses are often not running at all. So it's not easy to have an overview about all of us. But now we are sure: One in jail, one missing.

Thousands are gathering around the jail and blockading the entrance. And dancing.

8 p.m.

Curfew, the 3rd. All shops around the Washington State Convention Center are still covered with plywood.

Going home, we find a block away from our house in this calm neighborhood 48 police vehicles of all kinds, stuffed with cops, waiting.
